Stumped on one simple change

OK gang, I've got MOST of the new site I'm working on setup with the CSS. However, on the comments page, I need to change the text color dor the part where it reads:
Leave a comment (logged in as Keryth987)

It is currently black and with the black background I have, vanishes. I need to change it to white.

Any help would be GREATLY appreciated

Hmm... maybe #comment-form p {color:white;}?
I'll see if I can test it.

EDIT: Yeah, that seemed to work for me.

OK. New question.

One the character page, the one for each individual character, I want to change the background. I know it can be done, but have not figured how. I've seen it done on other pages, and have searched through their CSS they post as well as done an inspect object.

For extra clarification, I mena the Description, Bio, and Secret GM Info Boxes. I'm trying to get their backgrounds to be black. Everything I've tried, I get a 'can't use javascript' error from OP

Here is an example, Cava.
div.cava {

font-family: ‘helvetica’;
font-style:italic;
padding: 5px 5px 0px 10px
}

You then put div class="cava" on each page that has Cava- I use this to give each player their own unique parchment for everything they do.
