Killervp - you dog!!!! :)

I came here to lobby for votes as well but Proud Leonidas cannot beg; he can however make an impassioned plea to his fellow Portonians.

Fellow Portonians, I am Leonidas300, DM of: "Manifestation of Chaos":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/Metzger COTM for September and I beseech your aid in attaining Campaign of the Year.

In truth I want this award but my players *deserve* this award, they are a great group who have paid for this campaign with blood and sweat of their characters. Six months hence they will knowingly face the Great Cthulhu himself to try to save Oerth from an eternity of darkness. These brave Heroes fight against forces far greater than themselves and never yield to fear; they do not even yield to death.

I find it fitting that our campaign is much like our characters... beset on all sides by powerful foes, monstrous campaigns teeming with elaborate code... yet we fight on and stand our ground against these behemoths. We we not be swallowed up, we will fight and with your help WE WILL WIN!!!!

While KVP and others have great campaigns, I too must lobby for votes. Vote Star Trek Late Night as CotY and I will not place the Dread Curse of Azathoth upon you. You dare smirk, I promise you this is no joke, I have crafted the Sacred Drums of the Bloated Lady out of the stretched skin of role playing nerds and a flute out the thigh bone of a 40 year old virgin. I have harvested nine diseased livers and seven hearts from murderers. The sacred rites have been invoked and the time is right. You have been warned. Vote for none other than Star Trek Late Night or you will forever wish that you had.

I'm gonna have to do the samea s Setphen; you all have great campaigns, but I must lobby for Cernig's and my campaign as well.

So: Vote for "Edgerunners":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/edgerunners - it's a vote for The Future!

Since we won Campaign of the Month for October, we have both grown and shrunk. We lost a few players due to real-life commitments, some going out in a "blaze of fire":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/edgerunners/wikis/mission-2-log-4, others just fading out between our last mission and the current one. But worry not! While we lost some players, we also gained some, and we still have a healthy player base. One of our good friends and comrades in GMing campaigns here on OP, "Rase Cidraen":http://www.obsidianportal.com/profile/Rase%20Cidraen of "Dark Queen of the West":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/the-dark-queen-of-the-west joined our story as Mac, a hard-boiled private eye with a secret even he hasn't sleuthed out. Mac joined our group after "a little incident":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/edgerunners/wikis/mission-2-log-4 in a hospital left an insurance provider scrambling about for freelancers to do some investigating, and Mac went right to the "source":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/edgerunners/wikis/mission-2-log-5. Since then, Mac's been rather an asset to the story, especially as he has taken "notes":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/edgerunners/adventure-log/macs-notebook during the missions, which he then posts onto the adventure log. It's like a tiny, handy primer for everything that's going on - at least compared to the proper adventure logs, which are full and detailed accounts of everything that occurs during the mission.

Now, our Edgerunner team have finished their missing-persons job, and have been hired by the elusive crime lord of Night City, Friedlander Bey, to provide security for the Grey Auctions, the legal sale of material stolen from outside of and then transported to Night City, the result of a little twist in Night City's legal code that defines stolen property to be anything stolen from *within* the city. Already, we've had to encounter a Russian crime syndicate that wants to muscle in on the Bey's turf, but now it looks like something even more dangerous is going on. Read the adventure logs to find out!

    Ahem.

    Achmmem.

    “Hmm…mimimimimimi.”

“Rubber baby buggy bumpers. Rubber baby buggy bumpers. Rubber baby buggy bumpers.”

     Psst! Tyvernos, you’re on!

“Should saucy sharks seek shelter soon? Should saucy sharks seek shelter soon? Should saucy sharks seek shelter soon?”

Hey! Gnome! The microphone is on!

“Imagine an imaginary menagerie manager imagining managing an imaginary menagerie.”

     Can he hear us?

“I can hear you perfectly fine Otto! You’ve questioned my motivation, my sanity, and perhaps even my impudence…or was that impotence? Hmm…aha! Importance! I beseech you, Ring-Ding-Devil-Dog, in your St. Bernard’s Yodeling-Yankee-Doodle Bennu-blasted belligerence, have you ever questioned my hearing? I’ve had enough of your Coffee Cake Junior humor and your Buried Treasure Pick ‘Em Ups for one day.”

     Who the hell is Otto?

“It gives me no greater pleasure than to stand before you today and accept this award. It has been a long, hard road out of the depths of Lamaria and”

“Yo Tyvernos, I’mma let you finish…but this Star Trek campaign is the best”

“Eh…erm, yo? Klingon Cling-on climb-on the band waGONE ‘cus mah crew GONE and WON the campaign on ‘cuz we GAME ON.”

“I thought you read my adventure log.”

     Can we televise this?

    We just did.

“As I was saying – it gives me no greater pleasure than to stand before you and accept this award. There are so many people whose diligent efforts, energies, and temper-tantrums contributed to making mine the best campaign of the year. Foremost among these are the sum of my constituents! I truly have trod upon the backs of the bruised and hoisted myself up – lofty though I may be – featherlight and dollar-foolish – to achieve Bennu-blessed, benighted and Bennointed status. You have my heartfelt gratitude." Tyvernos promptly has a "Wardrobe Malfunction" which reveals a protuberant proboscus -- eliciting sighs and gasps and many maws agape and aghast.

"For without this massive, dangling, deific phallus that so pendulously swings from my midget-sized midriff and crouching crotchless chaps – I don’t know where I would be; I certainly wouldn’t be the gnome I am today. It is you to whom I must extend gratitude. For, without our competition, by what measuring stick litmus test would we measure our grandiose designs? How might I better myself to achieve? What goals shall I set for my indomitable ambition? I pray thee, do you really know how many character journals it took to get here? Do you know how many website revisions, and artwork commissions, and starving rockstars and brooding roleplayers it took to stand before you, successful, proud, and gloating?”

     Cut to commercial.

    Commercial? Are you insane?

No, but I’d wager he is.

“Trepidation my friends! Can you feel it?” the wee gnome shouts over the moaning, blustery torrent. “A God…Rebuilt is coming! EMBRACE THE MAELSTROM!!!!” The skies crack as the heavens open and a Force of Nature erupts…in the middle of the television studio. Tyvernos clambers off the side of the stage and runs to the little gnome’s room to relieve himself. That’s what I get for holding it in.

Leonidas and his brave 7 will ENDURE THE MAELSTROM!!!!” and Bar the God's way and before it is done he may need to be rebuilt again!!!

In truth, I respect all the candidates, they are all excellent and worthy but I got to fight for my guys and if we lose then the winner will have had to step past our best effort to win.

    Goodluck to all,

I have to admit, this year has had some of the best CotM I have seen since joing OP. A few from past years stand out as favorites but this year alone found nearly every CotM on my list of weekly readings. While I want Star Trek Late Night to win, I will not be disapointed to see one of the other campaigns take the day as they are excellent and quite deserving.

Does anyone know if they fixed the voting yet. I know the first night it was up it wouldnt accept my vote and then the second it did but I got a message saying it had been fixed again.

I'd like to take a moment to express my great appreciation to Victor (KillerVP) for Rebuilt. I haven't played since the late 80s, and very nearly didn't join his group when I was invited.

I am extremely glad that I did.

The amount of work Victor puts into each and every session, his skillful adaptations when we run his campaign off the rails, and his willingness to allow us, the players, to help shape his world, never ceases to amaze me.

As a former Car Wars junkie, this is my first real role playing campaign, and I feel honored and blessed to have been allowed to participate in Rebuilt.

I ask you all to please vote for Rebuilt. I can't think of anyone who deserves the honor more.

Stephen- To quote the facebook page "We had some issues with our Campaign of the Year voting setup yesterday so we've wiped the slate clean and started it fresh. If you want to vote, you better go do it again! (Sorry! Sincerely, Jerry)"

So, it seems that voting started about 10 am on 12/19/12. Apology accepted Jerry.....

I missed out on the chalice of dice by six votes in 2010. So many great campaigns - so few votes.

    Good luck, everyone!

It is true what StephenWollet says about the high standard of campaigns in this year and I am more than happy to have SHIMRING included in that group. I have cast my vote for the campaign (outside of my own) that has given me the most inspiration throughout the year. Good luck to all contestants!
