Greetings once more;
Did a search, but nothing really pegged this concern down as perhaps my request is too common.
I'd be interested to know what dice sets are;
- required
- optimal
for a Planescape campaign.
Still following 2nd Edition rules ( the best!) btw.

Planescape is a setting. If you are using 2e rules then use a full standard set of DND dice. I'm one of the managers for the official Planescape website so hit me up if you have any questions.
