HTML Comments

Many of my pages get a little long due to all of the formatting and other things on the page. I would like to separate some of it with something like an HTML Comment that can only be seen while editing. However the comment tag seems to be one of the things we can't use. Is there some way to do this or some other way to add a comment that only shows up while editing?
