I can't get the tag to work

This tag was mentioned on the Haste podcast a while back and brought up again recently. I've tried using it several times, but I just can't get it to work. I've tried pasting in on its own line, at the end of a paragraph, and any other tweaky thing I can think of, but no luck.

I really like the recent podcast tip to use this as a way of putting a summary on the the main Adventure Log page and linking to the full report. Has anyone else had a problem with this? What am I doing wrong?

killervp, I looked at that before posting and didn't see any help. However, upon a closer look, I found my problem. On the OP blog post, where I first saw the tag, they typed it with only single hyphens, so that's what I was trying to use. And now I'm ashamed that I didn't see that on my own - I use HTML on a daily basis and should've picked up on the typo.
