I am pretty new to Obsidian Portal, and decided it was time to say Hello.

I'm an Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy, currently stationed in Oklahoma (Don't get me started on the irony, I can make bad jokes about it all day.) My gaming experience spans decades, beginning in the late 80s with Cyberpunk, Battletech, Shadowrun, and AD&D 1st edition, and I have evolved from there, adopting many systems along the way. Currently I'm running D&D 3.5 online, but really this forum visit is just a social call.

Hola from Texas! welcome to the OP. there is more than a few friendly people on here to help you with everything from making sites to finding games. If you need something dont hesitate to place it here. So far ive never not found an answer.

I'll keep that in mind should any questions arise. Currently, I have something resembling laziness holding back the site on my current campaign, so once I get back in gear, I'm sure I'll expand. My timeline follow-up to the campaign I've got at the moment is a doozy, so it'll require lots of attention. ^.^

Whoa - Hurst, that double negative made my head swim. Although it sounds better than the affirmative version, at least with reference to the forum.

Welcome to the Portal, Seraphaguin! (Sorry, I initially read your name as Serapenguin, which confused me, as you said you were in Oklahoma, and Penguins dont usually like the Midwest... Well, at least they say they don't. I've never seen a penguin there, but maybe they're good at hiding? Wow, this has turned into a long and pointless aside. ((I should be banned from making asides, probably. Look, I've done it again, an aside in an aside...(((Meta, right? AHHHHHH!!!!))) )) )

...all pointlessness aside (Ugh ((Stop it! -ed)) ), this place is full of wonderful people, silly people, wonderfully silly people, etc etc ad infinitum (Oh god, not the latin - ed). I've never regretted stopping into the forum, even to post something relatively inane. Like I do most of the time. Just ask anyone who was around for the Pie discussion (Although I think that one died down, thank goodness.)

Aside - Hurst, how have I never seen OCP? That's amazing! My only advice would be to have a "dump out" link from the ending of the Entrance Exam, to keep in the flow that you created. I love the idea, but it ruins it a bit to have to hit "Back" or select the "Wiki/home" tab.
