Editing certain pages on site

Is there any way to edit the Character/Calender/Items/Forums/Maps/Comments pages? I've poked around quite a bit and looked at some other sites people have made, but as far as I can see, it seems like no one is able to access the settings for these pages. I'd rather not create extra pages but I'd prefer that then having ones that are customized while others are stock format. Is this how it is or did I miss something? Any help is appreciated, thanks.

I've seen a number of sites and looked at the ones you linked as well, all great looking sites. Still though, it appears that none of them have edited any of the pages I listed. It looks like they simply created extra pages and hid the default navigational bar to redirect to the new pages instead. So does this mean there really is no way to edit those stock pages?

Well... I guess for the sake of full disclosure...

Characters = If you learn how to do your own dynamic sheet template (DST) you can edit this. I'm learning this process presently, however since there's an "approval" process this will take an unknown amount of time to do. There's no way to style the initial page that displays all the characters.

Items (or Characters if you don't wish to go the DST route) = You can embed CSS in the provided boxes and via positioning obscure the existing document, thus obtaining the look you want on an item by item basis. There's no way to style the initial page that displays all the items.

Forums = You cannot affect the first page, however you can CSS style each and every individual post... a hefty amount of work to say the least.

Maps = I know of no way to format the page that displays the maps.

Comments = You can format each and every comment. However if you do any positional CSS there's a chance you'll ruin your ability to view/read/interact with the comments that might come along.

With regard to altering individual pages, I find it much more preferable to make unique wiki pages to replace most of the default OP pages. The only problem areas are the Forums and Comments areas. I have figured out a work-around for the "Comments":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/wyrmshadow-renovation-project/comments but have yet to determine a method of incorporating a unique UI overlay in the Forums... which is part and parcel to my decision not to bother with that feature at all.
