Welcome to the portal. I suggest you try "Pen and Paper Games":http://www.penandpapergames.com , Obsidian's partner to find players. I have found players for my game there myself. Also try the "Games Near Me Tab":http://www.obsidianportal.com/map

    "A God...Rebuilt":http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/a-god-rebuilt

    Just trying to help out.

Its kind of like D and D, except your characters really dont want to get into combat if they can avoid it. Oh, and they will eventually go insane and retire to a sanitorium (if they are lucky enough to survive long enough to go crazy). :)

Things that might push your character over the edge in Call of Cth : Seeing a monster, learning how to do any magic, seeing your friends devoured by tentacle beasts, staying up past your bedtime, and/or making a bad sanity check. It is a lot of fun though.

One tip if you plan on being a player-- dont volunteer to scout for the party, ever. Have fun!

    Mr. Backpack:

If you want a user-friendly, succinct, and painless way to learn Call of Cthulhu, I highly suggest visiting "Chaosium's":http://www.chaosium.com/ website and downloading their "Call of Cthulhu Quickstart rules":http://www.chaosium.com/article.php?story_id=87

If you're looking for like-minded players, killervp has already provided the link to Pen and Paper Games.

    Hope this helps!
