Beyond OP: Plug your other creativity here!

Hey all,

We Portaliers are quite obviously a creative bunch -it only takes a couple minutes browsing through our campaigns for that to become apparent. I know you guys and gals must have other projects, blogs and the like that the OP community might be interested in. I propose we plug such things here.

Full disclosure: I recently restarted a previously aborted attempt to launch a gaming blog -because there just aren't enough of those out there! ; ) I've hit the point where I feel like I'm hitting a posting groove and also feeling a bit ridiculous babbling into the nothingness of the internet without people actually knowing about it.

So, check out "ROFL Initiative":http://www.roflinitiative.com/ if you are interested.

Now its your turn! I want to add some stuff to my blog roll! What are you writing about outside OP?

first off I like the fact that you are using the new Portaliers nickname. lol.
    I started a facebook page called "trapdoor"|www.facebook.com/pages/Trapdoor/184859874878076?ref=ts
and its a community for all rp gamers to join. it started off as a way for me to continue Dan's OP wants to know segment when it was on hiatus. now we do a question of the day, quote of the week, and a world building exercise.
I encourage everyone to check it out

Hey, I just wanted to share a writing project that I just got. My official title is St. Paul Games Examiner, I write a blog about games, with a bent towards local stuff in the St. Paul, MN area. I just went live with my first post, and there will be much more stuff to come. Please bookmark it and check it all the time, even if you don't want to read it, just stop by for a couple minutes, because the more pageviews and traffic I get, the better I do! Thanks in advance for your guys' help!

Okay, I read your first entry over there, and now I'm contemplating if my kids _really_ need to go to college.

    Elder Scrolls V!I may explode.

Also, you are now in my blog roll!

Very interesting, guys. I don't have time for a full look right now, but I'll take a closer look this evening.

Congrats on the new gig, gaaran, and on restarting your blog, gnunn!

I've got a blog (that was linked somewhere in this forum during the legendary Squidgirl contest) where I write flash fiction, short fiction, Savage and other gaming posts, and commentary on whatever news catches my eye. Check out "RadiationSings.com":www.radiationsings.com/home if you've got a chance and let me know what you think.

Gaaran, checked it out and I'll check back as often as I can...purely to get you the extra traffic, mind you, as I am likely one of the few around here that don't really play vids. (at least not anymore, too busy) And the ones I used to play aren't really your cup of tea, I think.

Good to see that we're sharing other projects outside OP, though. I'll let you guys know when I've got one worth sharing (Might be soon)

Very cool Gaaran. Like Poutine I don't play video games often. I've got a game cube and a few games. I've been playing Gladius for well over a year because I play so infrequently. I'll definitely check back from time to time to see what you're writing about and to help with the traffic.

Jonathon I'll have to check out your short fiction pieces. Sounds interesting.

Okay, so I've been wanting to get into this whole "blogging" thing for a while, so I did. Just getting it figured out, though, so no laughing.

I started a blog a while ago for my sports columns, but haven't received permission from my newspaper to re-publish online what they've published in print, so it hasn't gone anywhere, but I decided to start another one that's a bit more free-form, creative-writing based.

I've only got a couple short pieces up so far... but check it out...maybe I can get a few "followers" haha. That's funny.

edit: just so you're aware, there is some salty language, but it's used for a literary purpose.

My blog is only slightly gaming related - "http://curufea.livejournal.com":http://curufea.livejournal.com
Mostly it's about games I write - board, card or roleplaying print-n-play, which I tend to put up on my main website - "http://www.curufea.com":http://www.curufea.com
I do a bit of graphic design for folks websites and write a few online tools now and then.
