Why, Hello There.

Hello everyone on OP (Special welcoming to ADnD 2.0 players)! I'm 16, unfortunately living Jax FL. But it's chill, I suppose. I've been gaming for the past 4 years, and have been having a great time doing so. As guessed, my favorite system is ADnD 2.0, I really can't stand 4e due the recent impressions I've had with my 4e campaign.

My gaming style is rather brutal for the most part, I love necromancy and large axes/hammers. Nothing is more satisyfying to me than when a DM takes the time to describe the gruesome aftermath of a horde of zombie (or spirits) rampaging the countryside, or a simple hammer to the face. Finesse, for the most part, is for the wimps who can't take a hit. Hypocritically, I like playing the rogue. I'm also a good cleric, if anyone in the Duval/St. Johns/St. Aug area needs a player.

Anyways, I've been on OP a while (notice I didn't say active) and have just recently began using it as a primary source of organization and display. Starting with my 4e campaign (which is horrible by the way) and eventually organizing and running a 2nd 2.0 campaign. So far, things have worked out perfectly for me (aside from my hatred of textile/wiki code). I'm not the biggest fan of creating a full blown adventure log, so don't expect much there. Actually... don't expect much at all from anything. No worries.

Anyways, glad to join the community. Check my campaign (ADnD 2.0 only please, http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaigns/scatteredpaths) and drop me some suggestions if you wish, I'm open for improvement.

I see that nobody replied so: Welcome to this wonderful community Dericious_Ramen!! (I like ramen too xD)

I looked at your campaign and I do have one suggestion: you should consider adding some images to go along the text, it's not too much work and it encourages people to read on. Otherwise, the pages will feel less entertaining and the reader gets tired quickly.

Anyway, that's my 2 cents. Hope it helps.

PS: I also enjoy small groups, they are easier to play with and to gather when you need to schedule for a session. Right now my gaming group is bigger than I wanted, but I think a couple of players will leave (too busy with work/study) so maybe it would be for the best.

Thanks for the welcomings! So far, it appears everyone likes Ramen. Demographically speaking, 100%.

I would add images, but at the moment I'm dealing with Paint.net (which is nice), but can't quite create what I'm looking for as far as graphics. My school has an open comp lab which has Adobe CS4 on it, so around August 23 I should be able to get some nice going. I'm also not sure how to put an image to the left or right of text and have the select text narrow to allign the other half of the page (if you know what I'm talking about).

And that is one awesome site, Erwin.

    Hey DR,

Chainsaw has some tips on formatting the size and position of images in his "Helps and Tips FAQ":http://forums.obsidianportal.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=1114&page=1#Item_21 that you might find useful.

    Cheers,

As Arsheesh said, check the FAQ from Chainsaw, it's really helpful.
