Adding markers to maps

I have three maps uploaded, currently. When I am looking at one of the maps and click "Add Marker", it doesn't show up on the map. If I jump out of the map and go back in, any of the markers I added all show up on top of each other in the center (which is what I remember happening before, but without the need to go out of and back into the map.)
