Sticky Notes/ Self Reminders
January 2020
@Conan_Lybarian, I guess some fancy CSS could be used to detach the GM-only comment section and have it float to the left/right side of the page so it could house a checklist of things to do per page...but it would probably be cleaner to have a cent…

Sticky Notes/ Self Reminders
January 2020
I uilize the checkbox list on my iPone Notes quite heavily for everything from ToDo lists to Shopping Lists. Maybe something similar where we could have checklists that can be filtered or grouped by categories?

Since you mentioned self-nomination is encouraged, I'lI shamelessly throw my own campaign into the mix: Terror at Thrushmoor by @Gastoff

A Totally Unofficial CSS Help & Tips FAQ
January 2020
edited January 2020
@Conan_Lybarian, One of the wiki pages on my campaign has an elder god that is all about secrecy and the void, so I wanted to change all the elements on that page so the faded out over time. I also changed the background to a custom background for t…

A Totally Unofficial CSS Help & Tips FAQ
January 2020
edited January 2020
@Conan_Lybarian, The page slug feature that was rolled out after Kallak took my request to the devs is best suited when wanting to fully customize a single page's elements, like each PC's page. The slugs are also the best option if you are wanting t…

Campaign Forum Dice Rolling Beta: Information and Feedback Post
January 2020
@DMaaron There isn't a way to combine the rolls into a single damage value with the current dice roller, but you can chain multiple instances of a rice roll together to achieve the same effect. For example: Attack Roll: [dice]1d20+5[end-dice] (1d20…

I've never been able to get the accordion feature to work on character pages. Not sure what causes it to break but that may be what you are running into as well.

The "Review my Campaign" thread
January 2020
I've shamelessly borrowed tons of CSS tricks from other great campaigns (mostly the previous CotM winners...) and made tweaks to fit my campaign style: For the character image zoom on hover and sepia shift, I dissected the CSS from Bortas's Morwin…

I've made a bunch of new changes to my main campaign and feel like it is now in a good place visually. Any suggestions or features you all think would take it to the next level? Thanks in advance for any input.

First div class in adventure log is not working
January 2020
Good news! I found the source of the problem. I had an extra closing brace in my custom CSS that was throwing off everything: What a headache from something so small and simple!

First div class in adventure log is not working
January 2020
I tried this exact same CSS set up in a tester campaign and it work fine...what is throwing off the CSS coding within the original campaign and not a tester campaign?

Alternatives to Obsidian Portal?
January 2020
The only other web tool I used for gaming data storage is Myth-Weavers for storing my character sheets. For organizing campaign information though, OP is hands down the only way to go. For the basic user, ir provides everything that is needed to run…

Remove items from menu
December 2019
Use this format to alter the left sidebar icons: #campaign-nav .ICON_NAME For example, #campaign-nav .op-icon-map[display:none} will remove the map icon from the nav menu. For the ones you mentioned it would be: #campaign-nav .dashboard, #campaign-…

Story incubator
November 2019
@Kallak, Maybe the randomness is part of the overarching plot. Some great cosmic force is causing the natural order of things to be jumbled up and it is the PCs mission to set things right: Limbo is bleeding over into the other planes, or The Maelst…

I hid that side bar that contains the favorite and comments section in order to clean up the visual, but I'll have to add it back in on the front page. Thanks for the suggestion!

Looking for some constructive criticism on my current campaign. I'm new to CSS and have been working my tail off trying to figure everything out and push the limits of what I can do. I am hoping things are visually striking without it being gaudy (h…

'QUEST'ION OF THE MONTH - NOVEMBER 2019

I had a narcissistic Sorcerer who crafted an intelligent staff that was topped with a mirror so that he could "talk with the only person worthy of carrying on a decent conversation...myself". In that same campaign, when the party came across a set o…

Vertical align header text within the header class
October 2019
Will this affect all the "strong" items across the site? Would this cause anything that is *bold* to be pushed down by 20px? So do I add the .WikiTitle CSS bit into the Custom CSS area and then I add the HTML stuff in front of the text in the page's…

Any plans for Internal CSS for Ascendant users?
October 2019
That's great new Kallak! If it gets implemented, I will have to learn how to utilize the page-slug in the custom CSS field when/if it rolls out. I'm excited for the new possibilties.

Any plans for Internal CSS for Ascendant users?

Thanks for the rapid reply Kallak! As an example of what I was hoping to accomplish with the page specific CSS: In my campaign, adventure logs are used as journal entries, written from the perspective of each PC. My DM posts will sometimes be generi…

Inline CSS to makepost background transparent

Inline CSS to makepost background transparent

Inline CSS to makepost background transparent
