hmm, i just tried this on my practice page, and I get the map to display, but there are no clickable links mapped to it... what am i doing wrong? is there some CCS code to add to the advanced setting panel?

Do you mean 'bullet points'? (is this a UK only terminology? I assumed it was universal!) in which case its just an asterix in front of each line you want to bullet point it should format as a 'bullet' (or 'dot' ) in front of each sentence …
