Stream now seems to be working, other issue of preview pages not loading, and edits getting 500, and edit screens having tiny edit boxes still around. -bort

Settings -> Style -> "Hide PC NPC Text" is the setting you are looking for, I think. Settings -> Advanced -> "Separate player and non-player characters", alternatively, perhaps. -bort

Are you noticing this with any other item, besides 'the gender tag'? Double check. ... The gender tag is only used to indicate to the name generator button on the left what style of name to put out. It isn't a saved setting. -bort

Is your campaign using the WYSIWYG editor, or the textile editor? The double brackets will only work with textile. Settings -> advanced -> default editor
