WOOT!!!! Way to go Twiggers, We have been puling for you for a year now and finally the powers of CotM have been granted to you. Use those powers carefully or they might bite your ass off. I love it when a truly awesome campaign gets recognized and just in time for Gen Con too.

Thanks to all the well wishers and thanks to all those who nominated Shimring for August CotM. It is a great honour for me to be counted among those recognised so far.

An award like this goes some way to validating the time I have spent on this campaign. Although the playing of the campaign has not always been active, I have been continually busy on this project for three years and in that time I have seen the general quality of campaigns on Obsidian Portal exploding with greater and greater magnificence.

I am at the stage in my campaign where I will not be making any MAJOR changes to layout but when Shimring is eventually over and I have to start a new campaign I know me with my limited technical knowledge will be hard pressed to keep up with the standard that is now fairly prevalent throughout the whole OP site.

I have made some truly good friends on this site and have really appreciated the many helpful tips, words of encouragement and forum conversations I have had with them. More than any other, KillerVP has helped to bring Shimring to the attention of this community so to him I give a very special thank you. Arsheesh, DMLoki, Duskreign, Dark Magus, Leonidas300, StephenWollett and McHappory have also been incredibly helpful over the long months and I would like to offer a further thank you to all who have supported KillerVP's CotM nomination, favorited the campaign or commented on it in some way.

To the many players who have been on the journey - Ian, Neill, Freddie, Dave, Gabe, Vinnie, Matthew, Donald, Ben, Gordon and Karie - it has been an honour!

Obsidian Portal has been my home from home. Thank you Micah, Jerry, Ryan and Good luck for the Ennies.

Oh, shucks, just letting people know that you have an awesome campaign is not a big deal, Twigs- and it still looks good!!!
The standard is changing, but even us old folks can learn new tricks!

I don't mind singing praises when they are well deserved! You've gone from cutter to blood and shared many darks along the way, it's about damn time IMHO.

    Thanks, all!

49 fans. Number 50 gets a special REVIEW of their site!

(By the way, I don't usually do this, but I like the BIG ROUND NUMBERS!)

Pray for the Questors in Shimring. They are about to enter INTERPLANAR HELL!!!
