Game Time:

• Very Experienced DM. Beginners are especially welcome - but should be willing to do a bit of preparation.  If you enjoy the one-shot, you may be invited to join our regular campaign!
• Various WOTC Forgotten Realms publications are used simultaneously as a backdrop, to open up a variety of non-linear story possibilities.
• The balance of role-play versus combat depends on the players. Actions always have consequences, and character death is a real possibility. Focused but fun.
• Homebrew will be limited to a few optional rules for combat, movement, and injuries.
• We use Discord and Obsidian Portal between sessions for notes, lore, RP, and any out-of-character and party-related decision-making and housekeeping.
• Players should be thoughtful and articulate both in speech and text. All players are expected to be patient, open to compromise, and not take friendly disagreements too personally. Cooperative story-telling requires everyone to work together, share the spotlight, and help each other achieve their goals both in and out of character.
• Although it is a fantasy setting, verisimilitude is important for engagement and immersion. The setting is quasi-medieval, so in addition to gritty combat and death, players should also expect many of the NPCs they encounter to adhere to morals and values which we might consider inappropriate in the modern world. Although it will not be tolerated from players, bigotry exists in the game world, and PCs will likely encounter it during their travels. I like modern and sci-fi settings. Big fan of superheroes, supernatural, spy/paramilitary, etc. Kind of spent on fantasy settings.

The world of Exandria is vast, chaotic, and teeming with life and potential. From all across the distant lands of Wildemount, great voices call out to a group of would-be heroes. Prime Deities; Betrayers; Lesser Idols; and all things in between. When asked to take up arms, to travel the world and make themselves known, how will an unlikely crew of ordinary people act, when the eyes of gods are forever on their backs?

Howdy! I'm Gray, a nonbinary GM who has been playing this game for the better part of a decade.

This is a standard, weekly campaign through the continent of Wildemount on Exandria! I'm hoping to gather a group of 3-6 players who love roleplay, and are excited to tell an incredible story. While I have a rough idea for the story of this campaign, I plan on highly adapting it based on what elements of the world players are looking to see brought to life. I'm also hoping to gather people who are familiar with the world already, but if you aren't, no worries! I'm always very happy to teach.

I always start long campaigns with a Session 0, where we will go over expectations for the game, discuss the world, build characters for anyone who doesn't have a full idea, and run through our Lines and Veils and other safety tools. Session 0 is FREE!

After Session 0, we will begin to explore the world of Exandria, starting at Level 3. I am a longtime Critter, and am deeply invested in the world of Exandria, so I will happily guide a party to whatever corners of Exandria the players are interested in exploring! Perhaps a party meets up in the distant, northern city of Uthodurn, and discovers a deep secret that sets them out into the world, or crosses paths in a lazy trade stop in the Dwendalian Empire and vows to change their world for the better! No matter how people come together, one thing is certain: the echoes of potential call out to you through voices beyond yourselves, and the party will travel to the ends of the earth to meet that glorious fate.

Each session will cost $20 per player, which is paid through StartPlaying at the start of each session.

The campaign will be run through Roll20, with occasional Theater of the Mind encounters as we verge off the path of the book. I bring with me the physical and digital version of this book, as well as all other core rulebooks. I don't currently have D&DBeyond set up for forming parties, but make sure to take extra time to help anyone create or set up a character sheet, especially for newer players.

We are, Demise and Sholeh, the Dungeon Masters. Yep, that’s right. Two DMs! We are running a game that has two Co-DMs leading simultaneously. The DMs will work out the details to create an experience that is more vibrant with stories that are richer and more complex!

I've just realized that I don't know if I can attach the relevant Folders that cover the character, can I attach the relevant Folders that cover the character? and if so how do  I attach the relevant Folders that cover the character?

Ideally its players will already have established characters whose levels are between 8th and 10th and will welcome another another 8th level Character

Why? you ask, because I have A 8th level Fighter, as far as I remember he's very close to 9th level, from A Campaign that ended in November 2,008, sorry about the fact that by mistake I initially put 2,001, that I would love to start using again

Both Parents were very Minor Nobles that held no titles and ruled no lands but using rules for earning domains his career he's earned himself 7 titles, if I remember right the 1st 2 were earned within the 1st 30 months by the campaigns time, and if I remember right he's only been a adventurer for just under 19 years, 6 months

... HOWEVER (eerie sounds begin) I recently survived getting struck by a 40mph semi as a pedestrian, I died briefly but now I'm back... And I want to play Vampire The Masquerade and other White Wolf gothic games.

All this will help me get back into the social scene. I just started walking again, and I'm going through the neurologist too and I've been isolated for a year and a half now. So please, if you're into gothic and dark settings (love Antipaladins, Witches, Warlocks, Vampires, avoiding the Machine God in Demon The Descent) invite me into your game session.

The Drench, a Westmarches DnD campaign set in the flood based apocalypse of a homebrew world loosely based on Disneys Atlantis and the Golden Sun universe.

Thirty thousand years ago our forebears plunged the world beneath the waves. Their motives contemptible and their methods incomprehensible, we lay in the drowned remains of ancient sins.

Whatever it was they had done, whether a single act or a confluence of barbarity, we believed it had permanently ruined the world. Year after year, day after day our reality has slowly eroded. The great scholars and magi among us foretold the eventual return of our world into the void from which all things come.

We believed wrong. For six lunar cycles ago the doomed artifice known as the Pools of Lemuria once again began to flow. The pool called to those of heroic soul to bathe within its waters. Those that did, became great champions as they underwent a form of apotheosis. You are one of these Champions.

Armed with heroic might and plagued by ignorance, all that is left is to ask why the Pools are once again full.

Home-Brew Mechanics:

Non-Permanent PC Death; Slain PC’s will be reborn in the pools of Lemuria a lunar cycle after their death.

Gold as XP; You will receive XP not for defeating foes but instead you will gain it for bathing plunder in the pools of Lemuria.

Base building mechanics; The Last City, Ceol’Yom is full of ruined buildings and the decay of ancient centuries. These can be repaired into valuable services.

High but Fair difficulty; The monsters of the world are dangerous and will not hold back.

Bottom of the Sea; The campaign takes place at the bottom of the world spanning sea.

Inked out; Terrestrial characters have powerful tattoos that grant them the ability to survive the perils of sea-floor living. A tattoo parlor building in the game allows for the upgrade of these tattoos.

Feng Shui, the game, is a time hopping high action blend of Hong Kong martial arts movies where heroes from various eras of history fight to control special locations to bend history to their will.

This campaign steals inspiration from the Brendan Fraser Mummy movies with the concept of a group of Chinese wizards reanimating a mummified sorcerer and getting more than they bargained for. Timelines will shift as the heroes fend off mummies, wizards and other monsters to restore history.

The group currently plays roughly every other week on Friday nights (8 PM PST) though we can accommodate Saturdays. We play online using a mix of Discord (audio) and Roll20 (mainly combat order tracking and visuals for this game system).

Beginners of all stripes are welcome.

My issue is while I’m running a campaign, I’m extremely new to DND and want to get some experience under my belt. Here’s what I got: I’m in the process of DMing and have done so for at least 3-4 sessions, and I’ve watched Dimension 20’s Fantasy High. I need a welcoming group who’s willing to put up with newbie shenanigans and probably a DM who’s willing to help me out. I have a little bit of backstory for my Kenku pal, but I really want to work with a DM who’s all about backstories to incorporate them! I’d also like to do this over Discord, I’m free almost ALL the time, except for Monday-Friday until after 4PM PST, because I’m a senior in high school, but after 4 I’m completely free!
