Hello, and Welcome to Tonight's Programming

Thought I’d take a moment to say hello to everyone here; new to Obsidian Portal, but, loving the tool so far, and using it pretty much to exclusion for keeping track of my first ‘official’ 4E D&D game. If any of you want to take a peek at it, before the first session sits down (this Sunday), the site is here: http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/sir_horatios As for myself, I’ve been at this whole gaming thing for far too long now. I fear I cannot be stopped. |

Welcome, and dont mind losing control.. you wouldnt be the first i think :) |
Hi there! Have fun poking around. I recommend sneaking peeks at everyone else’s stuff for inspiration on “oh hey, you can do THAT with this site?” sorts of things. |
Hey DW, nice page. I like the concept of your game as well. It seems like there are a lot Sigil/Planescape games around here. I’m beginning to suspect a conspiracy… Have fun! |
That’s exactly what the Illuminated sect wants you to think. They just don’t want you looking in their direction. ; ) Your game looks great, DW; I’ll be keeping an eye on it. It may have only been a sidebar in the DMG but I’m relieved that Sigil is part of the 4E cosmology. It’s such a magnificent setting – I’m pretty sure my next campaign will be Planescape as well. |
Thank you much, everyone. The first game was played last night, and went really well, in my humble opinion. Now to drudge up what actually occurred into a log-like format, all the while, pretending to work. |
Your wiki looks great! I like the consistency of theme on the imagery. What’s your image source? |
For most of the portraits, I’ll be honest, I’m using the Wizards of the Coast free PC portraits they put up – http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/arch/pc For the NPCs of Camden and Reuel, I’m recycling some old comissioned art from a friend of mine, and the Lady of Pain was fan art – I tracked down the artist, and she gave me her blessings (I just need to finish the credits so I can link back to her site). |
In case anyone’s interested, I’ve finished up putting the first ‘logs’ from the first session, and the second is well on its way. If anyone’s into 4E, you can actually see a number of items created for the purpose of this game, as well as some monsters. I think it’s neat, anyway. http://www.obsidianportal.com/campaign/sir_horatios Lemme know whatcha think. |
I like what you did with the images: the consistent faded edges and font. I might pick that up myself. The writing is good; the humor is great. Ill keep an eye on it. |

Thank you much, Redstar. The third session took place this past Sunday, in the process of throwing together the notes for it now – been a bit lazy about adding the items, but, I can throw them up in the ‘crunch’ soon. |
