People have always wanted a way to find campaigns that they can join. We’ve wanted to offer this from the start, but have always been busy with other stuff.

Finally we’ve gotten around to adding the first steps to such a feature, The Big Map!

The Big Map is simply a map of all the campaigns on the site. For now, it’s pretty simple, with only one filter: whether or not to show only games that are looking for players. Plus, just a note: it will only show 100 games at maximum, but is sensitive to the bounds of the map. So, at a far-out zoom you might not see everything. Just zoom in a bit and you’ll get the real picture.

The main menu has a link to “The Map” next to Campaigns.

If it’s not too difficult, I’d suggest you put a link to the Big Map on the Campaigns page too. Perhaps just above the featured campaign. “The Map” by itself doesn’t necessarily indicate what The Map is for.

Good idea. I programmed it as fast as I could this weekend, now I have to figure out where to put it and what to do with it…
